IonQ: the quantum story now has to justify a much larger balance sheet

IonQ reported 2025 revenue of $130.0 million, a $633.7 million operating loss and $1.03 billion of cash at year end. The thesis is not whether quantum computing is exciting; it is whether IonQ can turn a large cash position and technical roadmap into durable commercial demand before losses consume investor patience.
