What should include in thank you email after the interview?

Interviews are nerve-wracking experiences. You spend hours preparing, and then you have to go in and sell yourself to strangers. But once it's over, it's important to take a step back and remember your manners. After all, the people you interviewed took time out of their busy schedules to talk to you, and they could be instrumental in helping you land the job. So, how do you show your appreciation?

Sending a thank-you email is always a good idea. Thank you note by definition is short, so there's no need to write a novel. But make sure you do more than just regurgitate what you said in the interview. So what should you include in such an email?

For starters, make sure to thank the interviewer for their time.

Secondly, mention something specific that you enjoyed about the interview process. This shows that you were paying attention and that you value their time.

Finally, end on a positive note, expressing your excitement about the opportunity to join their team. By following these simple guidelines, you can ensure that your thank-you email makes the right impression.

One sample thank you email you can write is,

Hello (Name),

Thank you so much for taking the time to meet with me yesterday. I really enjoyed hearing more about the (position) and am excited about the opportunity to join your team.
I appreciated the chance to learn more about the (company) and am confident that I have the skills and experience to be a valuable asset in this role. Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide you to help me further my candidacy.

Thank you again for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
(Your name)

You want to send your email as soon as possible so that it comes to the interviewer's mind first. Also, if you interview in the morning, submit the email before the end of the day. If you have an afternoon interview, submit the email the same day, and they will receive it the next morning.
