How goglides.dev expects to handle account, billing, comment, and download data.
Identity and account data
Account sign-in is handled through a dedicated security service. Goglides stores a stable user identifier, public handle, profile fields, membership state, order history, and entitlement records needed to operate the product.
Email and display names can change over time and are not treated as immutable identifiers.
Billing data
Payment details are processed by a payment provider. Goglides stores customer, subscription, checkout, invoice, payment, refund, and dispute identifiers required for fulfillment, support, tax, audit, and reconciliation.
Usage data
We may record research views, source clicks, checkout events, artifact downloads, comment actions, and operational events to improve reliability, detect abuse, and support paid access.
Download logs may include account ID, order ID, file ID, timestamp, IP address or derived hash, user agent or derived hash, and watermark hash.
Signed artifact URLs should be short-lived and should not be logged in full.
Deletion requests
Account deletion requests should remove or anonymize profile data where possible while preserving records that are needed for payment, tax, fraud prevention, moderation, and legal obligations.
Historical comments may be preserved with anonymized attribution when deletion of discussion context would damage thread integrity.
